Cygnus Aerospace's Projects & Experience


The primary mission of the PaveHawk, a twin-engine, medium-lift helicopter, is to conduct operations into hostile areas to recover downed aircrew or other isolated personnel.


The MC-130P provides infiltration, exfiltration, and resupply of Special Operations Forces (SOF) and equipment in hostile or denied territory, while also having a role in helicopter refueling and airborne RPV control.


The U-28A utility aircraft provides intra-theater support for Special Operations Forces.

AC-130U "Spooky"

The AC-130 gunship's primary missions are close air support, air interdiction, and force protection. Through these roles, the AC-130 has become indispensable to the nation's defense force.


The MC-130E Combat Talon I and MC-130H Combat Talon II provide infiltration, exfiltration and resupply of special operations forces and equipment in hostile or denied territory. Secondary missions include psychological operations and helicopter air refueling


The EC-130J Commando Solo, a specially modified four engine Hercules transport, conducts information operations, psychological operations and civil affairs broadcast in AM, FM, HF, TV and military communication bands.


The UH-1N Huey Iroquois is a twin-engine light-lift USAF utility helicopter used for support of DoD contingency plans. The platform supports multiple missions. The primary mission includes, airlift of emergency security and disaster forces, medical evacuation, security surveillance of off-base movements of nuclear weapons convoys and test range areas during launch conditions.
